Darkhorse Percussion is a Huntingdon County based indoor percussion program providing performance opportunities to students in grades 6-12. Founded in the fall of 2014, Darkhorse has been operational for ten competitive seasons. Our marching and stationary percussion units compete in the Allegheny Mountain Region XI within NJA's Tournament Indoor Association. 

Darkhorse Percussion auditions in November, begins rehearsal in December, and runs until May. Students from Juniata Valley, Mount Union, Huntingdon, and Williamsburg Community high schools can fill out an interest form for our upcoming season at THIS LINK.

We're all incredibly proud of and pleased with the tenacity shown by our stationary percussion unit in their debut season! These students in grades 6-9 set a high bar for what we expect of this ensemble in the future, as they achieved great successes throughout their competitive season!
